was watching "A Walk To Remember" on SCV juz now.. really sweet story.. juz felt tt e ending was kinda sad.. (i_i)

oh ya, went Orchard wif my bro yest 2 collect my free cd.. (^_^)v *lucky* hehe.. won it in a newspaper contest.. it's some complilation called "Load Up!".. then went Queenstown hawker centre together 2 have dinner wif his fren.. nice food there, alot of variety also.. esp e claypot chicken rice.. there's 3 dessert stalls there, really dunno which 2 choose.. (^_^") ended up playing pool later.. went West Coast Recreation Centre.. so many pple there at nite, waited 4 like 1/2 hr lor.. almost won him, till i hit e black ball into e pocket.. (-_-"")

well.. had another lect today.. (cannot imagine rite? only 1 class on sat lor.. waste me half a day liaoz.. sianz) 4 e 1st time, i act reach e venue early.. (e previous time was cuz i couldn't find e LT.. haha..) & e lecturer was late 4 like 45mins lor! ok la, can 4give cuz it's a rainy day, maybe got jam la.. anw, survived e 1st wk of sch liaoz.. still have alot of stuff haven do yet.. let's c:
1. gotta go make my student concession card (even though i dun c e rationale here, since we dun get cheaper bus fare rite?)
2. buy textbooks.. this req both strength (to carry home) & $$$ (obviously)..
3. figure out e shuttle bus route.. (so far only taken it twice, once wif cat they all & once with jiamei.. but e 2nd time i act asked e bus uncle b4 boarding la.. better 2 b safe than sorry..)
4. find out where my tut rooms r.. starting my 1st tut class on mon.. chum.. better not get 2 e wrong place.. (o_O)
5. visit 'impt' places such as e library, photocopy shop, free access labs, cca venues..
6. discover yummy food.. so far no recommendations yet..
7. ok.. if this goes on, i'll neva finish writing.. haha.. better start clearing some stuff off this list 1st.. oh ya, b4 i 4get, i joined aikido, visual arts society (animeworks) & floorball 4 cca.. juz got this email tt states tt floorball 1st pract is on mon 8-10pm lor!!! (originally was 6.30-8.30pm) maybe i'm gonna reconsider, cuz tt's really late lor.. somemore got classes on tue.. haiz~ (x_x)

ok.. let's recap my life 4 these few days..
 
SUN: had a class gathering at my place, tt's 1 day b4 uni starts.. was kinda excited plus nervous abt new sch life la.. but those were quickly washed away wif e loads of catching up on 1 another's life, etc.. thankz 2 every1 who came (was really glad most could come, tink we hit 17pple, which is more than half e class.. yay~ hehe..), esp to hy, yx, al 4 helping 2 pass e msg ard.. couldn't haf done it w/o u all~* \(^_^)/ well, as usual, every1 was late, except ky & hc la.. tink it's a habit liaoz la, maybe we shld say an hour earlier, then perhaps we'll b on time? (?_?) anw, after reaching my house, e 1st thing we did.. order FOOD! pls lor, it was 2+pm liaoz, every1 was super hungry (ok, i'm exaggerating here).. after tt, it was e start of rounds of mahjong (as usual, i can only watch pple play, juz can't seem 2 pick it up), cuz i dun haf a mahjong table, so used e dining table, so guess where e food ended up when it arrived? hehe.. oh ya, hy they all played bridge (another game which i'm not gd at.. really, u dun wanna end up as my partner).. most of e guys played PS games la.. well.. soccer games again.. haiz~ dun tink i can ever appreciate tt.. esp since i always foul out all my players.. =P played "Guilty Gear" wif hc, wy, gb 4 awhile.. e results is thinkable: kana trashed like wat.. hc e best lor, neva play b4, yet won all 3 of us hands down.. it was like ages b4 he finally lose.. (quite a setback 4 him.. no la, juz kidding..) overall, it was really enjoyable, kinda noisy 2 haf so many of us ard, but tt's e fun part of class gathering mah..
 
MON: 1st day of sch!!! v hectic.. 1st thing: was supposed 2 meet cat, huishan & jeeps outside e nanyang audi la.. but wif e large crowd all ard, it's practically searching a needle in a haystack.. well, e welcome ceremony was not bad, wif all its mini-performances.. (pt of note: many tot e ang-moh guy who sang solo 4 e choir performance was cute.. i stand neutral.. when e cam caught him on screen, u can hear "ohhh & ahhh"s all ard e audi.. kinda funny.. haha.. ok, v bad here..) anw, e door gifts were nice la, except i find e organiser too big & bulky.. e file was gd, nice & practical.. oh, got my matric card too.. really dun like e photo on it.. long story, shldn't bore u all here wif it.. q-ed quite long 4 it, almost 1/2 hour i tink.. somemore cuz acc & biz had diff q, so i was left all on my own.. sianz~ went cat's hostel 4 a visit later on, slack ard there 4 quite some time la, met her neighbours too (who were mostly from nj la).. quite a comfy place lor, got toilet in their room also.. from there, we went straight 2 JP 2 meet joyce & shuz (2 celebrate cat's bdae).. treat her 2 her fav: swensen.. xiao yun also joined us.. spend e whole day out, legs super aching.. haha..
 
TUE: watched i, Robot wif my bros.. e cinema was kinda empty.. all e better, no 1 in front 2 block ya.. hehe.. found e show quite entertaining la, though my bros all said it was only ok/ so-so.. e actions were great, graphics were cool (esp e futuristic transportation ard e city).. there's this scene where Will Smith drove his car 2 this building, then when he got out of e car, the side walls opened up 2 reveal a automated-carpark where ur car r placed neatly in rows vertically by huge machines.. not only do u save space 4 parking lots, imagine never having 2 do ur own parking! tink driving test would b much easier 2 pass like tt.. =D anyway, e plot was intriguing as well.. kinda haf u on e edge.. it's like 1 moment, this robot can b e killer, e next moment, a new clue emerged & tt guy can b another suspect.. in short, enjoyed e show.. (^_^) my eldest bro flew back 2 australia later at night.. well, gonna miss him 4 e next few months.. no 1 4 me 2 bully.. haha.. anw, my 2nd bro let me drive back from Changi.. furthest i've ever gone..
 
haven done my reg 4 minors/electives.. tink i too slow liaoz la.. most of e popular modules r already packed filled.. (-_-") ok la, better hit e sack.. only 2nd day of sch & i'm like under constant attack of e sandman liaoz.. (u_u)zzZ

juz got back from m'sia yest.. went in wif my mum on sat nite 4 dinner wif my cousins.. kinda last min decision, so din manage 2 contact Cat they all in advance.. it so happens tt she's coming 2 sgp 2 spring-clean her hostel rm on sun.. haha.. Mei Hua say how come everytime i go over m'sia, then Cat come over sgp.. maybe there's some kinda weird force going on.. hehe.. (^_^")

anyway, called Mei Hua out e next day (sorta woke her from her sleep wif my calls.. haha..) met her at Pelangi (tt's 'rainbow' in malay i tink), then went Leisure Mall (or 'Giant' as they call e place, cuz there's a Giant shopping mall there..) 2 buy comics & magazines.. hehe.. oh ya, she drove me ard 2 this shop called "tang2 cheng2" (sweet city) 4 dessert, ate mango almond jelly.. MH said she always wanted 2 try e place la, but after eating, she tot it wasn't v nice & said she's neva going there again.. later Elaine joined us 4 a game of bowling, which as usual isn't my game.. kana trashed, total score only 63, no strike/spare.. (x_x) after tt, went Holiday Plaza 2 meet my mum & cousins, & also 2 buy some games.. haven try them out, but e shopkeeper say got any prob, can go back 2 change.. (as if i go over everyday???)

oh ya, heard from MH tt Miin Huey went overseas 2 Adelaide 2 study liaoz.. tt explains her new email add.. well, was kinda surprised la.. cuz long time neva heard from her.. maybe tt's a sign tt i shld contact more of my frens? sometimes u feel like calling s/o, but since it's been so long, u really dunno how 2 make e 1st move.. like 'wat shld i say?' or 'does he/she still rem me?'.. like when i joined Friendster, 1 of my pri frens found me, then he was saying he had no idea y i stopped sending him x’mas cards liaoz.. well, i told him cuz he neva replies, so i haf no idea if he got them or not, so stopped lor..

usually every year i send so many x’mas cards tt my mum nags me too.. & i like 2 write long msg in it la.. kinda trying 2 catch up on each other’s lives.. normally i’ll c who replies 2 them la.. even if e person doesn’t send any back, i’ll mail another e next year.. (2nd chance ma) but if there’s no reply still, then i’ll switch 2 email.. juz read a fren’s account of how tiring it is 2 maintain a frenship wif only 1 party making e effort.. tink i agree wif tt.. but sometimes when u feel like letting go, it’s juz so hard 2 release e string connecting each other.. like once u let go, both of u mite juz drift further & further apart.. guess u can call this e fear of losing a fren.. tink i’m e type of person who’s afraid of loneliness.. cheers 2 all who’s still sailing by my side.. let's c.. yest ailian, xian & huiyi came by 2 make cookies.. went 2 meet them at JP, then saw tcs filming there.. got toro & fiona sie la.. they really took v long leh.. we had lunch there, then chatted awhile, & they r still at e same place.. hehe.. anyway, cuz ailian wanna learn, so she did most of e work la.. e cookies turned out v yummy leh.. yay~ (^_^)b *thumbs up* then we sang karaoke in my room.. (my bro say he din hear anything from his room la, but kinda doubt it cuz my room isn't sound-proof.. maybe he too bz playing games liaoz.. haha..)

 

later at night, went clementi 2 play bad wif huiyi, xian & zhiyong la.. haven been working out much, so it wasn't long b4 breathless-ness caught up wif me.. hehe.. (^_^") but had fun la.. after tt, xian's mum came 2 fetch her while e rest of us went KFC 2 enjoy free air-con.. then waited (a long time) 4 my bro 2 come la.. usually can't really trust him when he says '10 mins more'.. tink there's sth wrong wif his concept of time.. (well.. speaking of which, mine also no better.. paiseh 2 every1 hor, cuz i always late one..) it's really nice 2 exercise together once in a while.. *quote Cat: "wanna play bball leh.." tink my bball so long din touch liaoz, muz b deflated by now.. haha.. juz joking la.. my bro use it sometimes, so still in action la..*

 

speak of e devil (not literally here hor.. maybe abit la.. haha.. *dodges Cat's claws*) aka Cat.. got a call from her yest.. seems tt e hostel room not up 2 her standard la.. said it's v old & dusty, no pillows etc.. maybe any1 who saw their rooms liaoz, can comment abit? well.. 2 Cat: "sorry 2 hear abt tt la.. but i still wun change my house's room wif urs.." =P

 

oh ya, went 2 Orchard wif xian 2day.. was gonna help her cousin buy some 5566 stuff, but ended up it was sold out la.. so we ended up shopping ard there, but cuz we went quite early.. alot of shops weren't open yet la.. so wat we do leh? went on postcard search lor.. hehe.. went 2 e food fest at Taka too.. so many variety there.. =D--- *drooling* xian was recommending this apple dipped in chocolate & sprinkles.. looks really delicious lor.. but we 4got 2 go back 2 buy.. arhhhh~~ well, maybe go back next time la.. (hope it dun close too soon..) bought some snacks la.. can't wait 2 try them out.. (",)

oh ya, finally pass my driving test today!!! ahhh.. it's finally all over.. i was on my nerves e whole time thru e test.. e tester abit stern, not fierce like those type tt scolds u loudly la, but he give u e kind of 'authority-like figure' image la.. tink e worst part is e debriefing.. tt's when u know e final verdict.. he was scolding until u tink u're gonna fail.. i was like 'chum, so many mistakes.. die die'.. lucky when he tabulated my demerit pts, managed 2 scrape thru.. whew~ my bro came 2 fetch me la, but he let me drive on e way home.. 1st time on expressway, so scary.. ok, maybe i abit too kiasee.. luckily, it's an auto car, so no gears 2 worry abt.. (^_^")

anyway, when i compared my driving during test & other times, seems tt i'm e type of person who can't stand exam-stress.. maybe i shld b born later, then can join e new education system.. less exams, more projects.. haha.. yest went back 2 nj 4 lunch wif huiyi, xian & ailian, then was tokking wif Mr Goh (my econs teacher cum yr1 civics tutor) abt e new integrated programme la.. seems e students r more prepared 4 e working world than us, also more out-spoken, independent, etc.. but nvm, we r more simple pple.. (imagine Avril Lavigne's song "Complicated": 'Why you have to go and make things so complicated?').. hehe.. oh ya, saw Ms Sim (my maths teacher) too & she's pregnant! we were so surprised & happy 4 her.. =)

hmm.. encountering e same prob Shuz had.. din get any news on e union camp too.. maybe gonna call e person up or sth.. y?!? watched Spiderman 2 yest!!! (paiseh 4 any spoilers ahead..) it's really cool, tink even better than e 1st one.. (^_^) (of coz la, can c from e critics in e presses.. hehe..)

tot e plot was not bad.. except e part where they were explaining Doc Otto's invention.. some chim stuff there.. sorry, my physics not so gd la.. (x_x) in terms of a romance movie, it's pretty draggy la.. i mean, these 2 pple like each other, y dun they juz admit.. arghhhh.. ok ok, i know there's alot of things u gotta consider (like superheroes haf 2 prevent their loved ones from getting targetted), but u can't help getting anxious.. oh ya, there's more essence of humour (esp --------- can't spoil e fun here.. go c e movie.. u'll know wat i mean.. hehe.. =P) & teeny bits of horror in it (esp e part where Dr Otto's in e hospital.. kinda like a massacre.. creepy.. & everytime when he appears, u'll always c those scary mechanical arms b4 his face.. bit of shock..) of coz, wat would Spiderman 2 b without AcTiOn! e fight sequence is really zai~ esp those gravity-defying stunts.. tink e best is when they were on e train, wif Doc Otto trying 2 kill Spiderman.. *tension* although my bro had some complain.. (he was saying how come no matter how hard Spiderman hits Doc Otto, he showed no injuries at all.. like he's invincible or sth.. haha..)

frankly speaking, my fav character in e movie is actually Doc Otto.. ok, i know he's e villain.. (^_^") but he's a pretty pitiful guy.. i mean, u can't help sympathising wif a guy who lost his loved one & been thru e ultimate failure of his life.. anyway, it's not entirely his fault tt he's become e arch enemy of e hero.. it's all those bad mechanical arms.. (>o<) although u can't deny, those r great weapons.. gd pt: e arms help u do everything, protect u from danger, serves as free transportation, hatch evil plans 4 u.. (oops, tt's a bad pt hor.. hehe..) bad pt: it kinda makes u feel crippled, doesn't it? i mean i hardly c Doc Otto moving his hands/legs.. (?_?) tink there's a deeper meaning leh.. like 'Man VS Machines: who holds e control over e other?' (ok, back 2 e literature days here..)

towards e end, it kinda suggested a third movie coming up.. so guess who's e new villain? tt's 4 u 2 find out & me 2 know.. haha.. overall, tink i'll give it 4 stars la.. dun throw eggs at me hor.. juz tt i had a nicer movie in mind liaoz.. ~Troy~ (",) in case u're planning on watching e show soon, i'll say 'go ahead!'
