ya.. me officially 1 year+1 day older liaoz.. was supposed to write this entry yest, but ended up rushing out my 4-PAGE OB critical thinking analysis.. (-_-") ok.. it's not tt bad la.. cuz they neva state e word limit, so we cheat cheat abit la.. used 1.5 line spacing.. hehe.. u may find tt i usually write abt events tt happened e previous day, there's 2 main reasons:
1. i've spent e whole day playing, so pia-ing my homework liaoz..
2. i'm juz too tired.. & haf dozed off.. haha..

anw.. had a v v happy bdae yest.. all thkz to hy, al, yx, wy, gb & jj.. (plus all e rest who sent their wishes..) we went to this place call Essential Brew in Holland V (recommended by hy).. tot it was a coffee cafe at 1st, but it turned out to be a western restaurant, which also sells tea.. ate e main course there.. (me tried e Coriander Fillet.. yum yum~) din try e tea there la.. but we had lotsa dessert though.. cuz we ordered Jasmine Tiramisu & Apple Crumble to share, but they surprised me with 2 mini cakes (wif candles on top of each) & e shop gave us a complimentary ice cream.. ended up quite full.. hehe.. e place was really gd, great atmosphere..

oh ya, special credits go to hy, yx & al's "big project", which is a collage wif all our photos pasted on e faces of stars on movie postcards & other pics.. tink e cutest is e 1 wif our jc class pple 'playing in an orchestra'.. hilarious effect.. heard they spend days on it.. xin1 ku3 ni3 men2 le4! me sooooooo touched~! (^o^) still finding a space to hang it, but b4 tt, still trying to figure out a way to 'shield' it from dust & such.. cuz wanna preserve ma.. wanted to post pics of it, but can't seem to squeeze it in 1 shot (otherwise e faces will b blurred).. maybe take snap-shots of parts of it then post online.. will work on tt..

also got a colourful shoulder bag (is tt how u describe it? or isit a tote bag?) from them.. look fwd to using it.. =) got an adorable pig-head (got a bell somemore.. kawaii~) cushion from e guys, a pair of angel earrings from my cousin, a handbag from my 2nd bro & his gf (tink mainly her idea, cuz my bro dun usually give me presents.. haha..), & a bean bag pig-head from wen.. thkz every1! my big bro din buy anything cuz he juz din know wat to get, maybe can get him to buy lotsa comics 4 me b4 he flies back to australia.. haha.. exploiting him.. btw, my 2nd bro's really bad.. cuz i got 2 pig-head cushions, so he was telling me he c e resemblance.. (nvm if u dun get it.. it's better not to.. sigh~)

in all, it's simply fun juz hanging out wif every1 & knowing tt all of u care so much! *touched touched* (not literally) hehe.. =P

oh, acct presentation this wed.. haven finish my slides yet.. gotta get it done by tonight.. ahh~ (imagine Home Alone boy's screaming face here.. ok la.. i know i not as cute..) kana acct make-up lect on 3rd day of CNY.. how bad can these pple (lecturer) b? heard my fren's pon-ing it liaoz.. hehe..

i'm a heavy sleeper.. don't try tokking to me while i'm in half-sleeping mode cuz i'll vaguely rem.. & usually can't c my dreams well cuz i'm short-sighted (dunno if it's true but it all seems blur to me la).. they say dreams r projection of ur subconsious mind.. i wonder if tt's real.. sometimes i dream of pple whom i've not met 4 a long long time.. is it cuz i tink of them in my mind? i dunno.. (?_?)

anw, had dinner wif cat, joyce, shuz & xun hui at cant 1.. though it was quite short (cuz all of them had cca later on), but felt kinda happy.. updates on one another's lives & a couple of teasing ard.. haven had such a gd chit-chat (was laughing till tears came out) 4 some time.. it's better when u're wif ur close frens.. more at ease.. (even though we were at a public place, there was hardly any concern abt self-image, esp since we're in a grp.. hehe..) hmm.. tink i'm kinda an introvert (ok, some mite not agree on this), & can't really open up 2 pple easily.. tt's y i may treat pple differently at times & appears to b abit cold i guess..

had my MBIT test this wk for OB lect.. still waiting for e results.. there was this question inside tt asked: "Do u confide in: a. a few frens? b. no one. i usually keep to myself?" (agar rem, not e exact wordings la) paused on this que 4 awhile.. act i dunno e ans myself.. frens shld b true to one another, but there r some things tt u juz dunno how to tok it out.. & sometimes u get stuck in denial stage, speaking e opposite of wat u act feels inside.. maybe one of these days i'll end up in some psychologist's office la.. haha.. may know a few at hand, esp now when every1's learning psychology 4 their electives.. (^o^) ok, dunno y i wrote all these stuff.. not making any sense here.. maybe cuz abit tired then tots all running ard ba, or me juz not a gd blogger la..

picked my big bro up from changi airport today.. suffered a massive jam all e way to bedok cuz of an accident on e expressway.. so e to-&-fro trip made me all drowsy liaoz.. (used to have car-sickness when young) better get to bed.. oh ya, it's my 2nd bro's bdae tmr.. juz to acknowledge here, cuz he wun read my blog anw.. he describes me blogging as "act cute".. (>o<)

(-_-") sorry if i neva return any of ur calls.. pls sms me instead if u can't get thru..

am i too picky on food? yes.. i dun eat vege, dun eat chilli, eat my McNuggets w/o sauce.. most pple i'm weird.. maybe they're rite.. e previous pistachio nuts is 1 such case.. somemore i realised tt every time i like 1 type of food, it will go out of production.. eg. Peel Fresh Citrus 5 juice (no longer ard.. i juz dun understand y they dun produce anymore.. sure-ly this is more tasty than e wheat grass juice?!?) & more recently, Fox sugar-free Fruits-flavoured sweet (hardly ard).. dunno if u call this loyalty or plain stubbornness, but once i like this food, i'll juz wanna eat this type & i'll go 2 e edge of e world 2 find it.. ok, too exaggerating.. but i really searched every shop in boon lay area (at least those i know) juz 2 find e sweets.. haf 2 combed thru e whole shelf cuz e packaging's really small.. (pls lor, how u expect pple 2 b aware of ur products when they can't even c it?!?)

anw, my MAR comic's coming out this tue.. yay~ but sadly, e next day's accounting quiz (which i tink i sure cmi, considering e stars i'm c-ing now), so dun tink i'll haf time 2 go buy.. meanwhile, still rushing acct project.. wish me luck..

Selamat Hari Raya! though it's officially a public hol, but i'll still b gg sch 4 project 2day.. sigh~ tt's one thing bad abt uni life.. hols or no hols, it makes no difference.. like e coming CNY.. already every tutor's making arrangements for make-up lessons.. guess there's really no incentives for us 2 look fwd 2 hols nowadays rite? abit of intro abt e bg: it's Chii from Chobits (by CLAMP).. in case u r tinking: "Chii looks v cute!", she's not a real gal (look closely at her ears).. she's a persocom, which is a human computer, & e ears r where her wires come out (u know.. like a real computer, there's USB ports & connection wires).. finished e manga liaoz, now still watching e anime.. taking a v long time cuz started during e hols.. there's this v nice poem inside.. maybe i'll insert it under 'special' when i haf e time..

another bz week gone.. so far went 4 all my tut liaoz.. OB's really weird.. feel like attending some creative tinking class.. even got role-playing stuff.. e tutor was really funny, cuz she read all e chinese names wrongly.. (tink she's singaporean, but those 'banana' type, ie v angmoh) hehe.. got a china guy 4 acct.. looks really young, wondering if he's a phd student..

survived 1st wk of sch.. tink every1 but me seems 2 enjoy it.. let's c.. was supposed to haf a 2-day wk since there's no tut this wk, but cuz need 2 buy text & all e make-up lessons 4 next wk, ended up gg sch everyday.. sigh~~ went nie bkshop 3 times so far.. & still din manage 2 get my jap text.. (>o<)

oh ya, missed my 1st jap lesson cuz tot GE starts in 2nd wk (which turns out tt foreign language classes starts 1st wk).. went 4 e 2nd lesson, only 2 find out there's a spelling test.. *shocked* need 2 do alot of calligraphy & believe me, i dun like tt.. (-_-)

anw, taking Accounting, Financial Management, Statistics & Organisational Behaviour plus Jap (GE) this sem.. here's e summary so far:

~ Acct's lect somehow reminds me of mkting last sem, colourful notes & lotsa video clips 2 watch.. most pple tink it's boring (some left halfway), but i tot e lecturer was quite humorous.. or maybe cuz e lect was after my FM sem.. so comparing both, tt wasn't so bad.. haha..

~ FM tutor's a china guy, quite nice (meaning not fierce), kept smiling but kinda boring (maybe it's e subject, read e text & still c-ing stars)..

~ Stats lecturer's an indian, hard 2 make out wat's he saying most of e time.. esp since i always sit at e back.. & guess wat? he's only teaching 1 class this sem & it happens 2 b mine.. haha.. but he's a gd tutor, helpful & funny at times.. even bother 2 make small talk wif u (ie approachable).. i hardly tok wif tutors.. maybe tt explains my participation marks..

~ OB not much exposure yet, heard from emma there's some psychology parts in it.. had lect in LT19A, which is a LT wif v steep steps.. as if u can go tumbling down e steps anytime.. scary~

~ Jap (apart from mentioned above) was interesting.. my sensei's a jap.. she told us in order 2 understand jap anime, level1 isn't enuff.. tink need 2 achieve at least level3.. wah~ (o_O) tt's like so far 4 me at this moment..

a new beginning.. a new layout.. hehe.. tell me wat u all tink abt it k? had a tedious time making it (though e original layout was d/l from blogskin.. at least i changed abit la.. personalization ma..) changes include words on e status bar (juz found out u can opt 4 it 2 appear/disappear by clicking 'view>status bar' on e toolbar.. c how swakoo i am), bg music & e poem above.. wanted 2 put e poem above in chinese cuz seems nicer, but found out tt it can't be shown (dun ask me y..), so changed it 2 english.. gotta redo tt part.. (x_x) btw, dunno y this layout can't display chinese, so all my previous posts can't b viewed properly.. haiz~ & since i used ariel small size fonts 4 my previous entries.. they'll appear smaller than this one..

anw, e recent news haf been all abt e tsunami/tidal wave incident.. kinda make u look at life again.. one moment u mite b there, who knows wat'll happen in e future? so e usual saying: seize e day.. there's been many efforts 2 help e victims.. e least we can do is 2 pray 4 them.. wat's been passing ard on msn messenger is 2 place a flower in front of ur nick.. juz insert (f)..

oh ya, e GE outcome was out today.. seems tt most pple got their 1st choice, including me.. yeah~ gonna b studying jap this sem.. wish me luck! oh ya, notes 4 e core modules r out.. better go print it..
