today's class only start at 10.30am.. so y am i up so early? cuz my bro's late for work, so i got up to b his driver.. figure i mite as well update my blog, rather than gg back to sleep.. ok.. long time since i've updated.. i know i neva finish tokking abt e trip, so to cut it short.. in addition only went my bro's sch (UNSW, really gd facilities.. they even got their own club inside!), Bondi Beach (really cold & strong wind there), Star City (yay~ 1st time into a casino!), Sydney Fish Mkt (ate fish & chips), & re-visited Paddy's Mkt (for souvenirs).. went to watch Fantasic Four wif my bro at e nearby cinema.. kinda ex ($11.50 for adults, $8.50 concession).. well, need time to upload all e photos.. (x_x)

anw, met up wif Wen, Zl & Michelle 2 days b4 sch reopens.. went Orchard for lunch.. dunno y, but kinda tink we've outgrown e place.. it's like u walk ard there, but nothing really seems to impress u anymore.. we were saying tt City Hall area seems to suit our age more liaoz.. hope tt doesn't mean we're too old.. =P

1st day of sch wasn't anything fun, considering tt there wasn't any class for me.. only went sch wif Xiao Hui Hui & her fren to buy books.. saw alot of booths ard for e freshmen welcome day.. kinda remind me of last yr, where we were still a bunch of blur freshmen, who walk ard sch not knowing where we r.. haha..

2nd day was quite bad, cuz i din manage to switch my sat class.. e sch system crashed i tink, so e reg delayed from 10am to 2pm.. Emma & i waited 1+hr in e FAL trying to login to stars (b4 they found out e prob).. but had class from 12.30-3.30pm, so couldn't go online at 2pm rite? really tink they ought to postponed it a day later.. (>o<) saw my e-bill yest, & it was like e sch's even making us pay for e renovations?!? i mean, ok.. there's some changes in e canteens, but e food's still e same.. instead of changing e outside (e appearance of e places), y not alter e inside (like e sch network)? usually paying for med & computer services is already bad enuff, wif e current increase in sch fees, now this.. haiz~~~ i really shld start 'exploiting' e sch facilities.. haha..

oh ya, it was Cat's bdae on tue, so Shuz, Joyce, Jeeps, Menz & i celebrated it by buying a cake for her.. it tasted really yummy! but we 4got to bring lighter for e candles, so it was kinda funny at first cuz we were trying to c if there was any smokers ard e hall to borrow a light.. solved it in e end by gg to e kitchen stove.. haha.. since it was flag holiday e next day, so went back at nite to chat wif them.. met up wif Menz & Cat on wed for some sports (after a really long time for me la).. bones aching now.. hehe..

heard this song on my bro's radio as we were driving back to his place.. it was raining, so kinda fits e mood.. e rain made it more chilling at night (btw, it's ard 1am here in Sydney) & i'm surviving wif my bro's heater by my side.. haha..

anw, went Market City yest.. ate dim sum for breakfast at this place call Yum Cha (not e sgp restaurant) which served really yummy food! they haf this Paddy's Mkt downstairs where u can buy affordable vege & fruits.. e mandarin oranges r really sweet! was quite surprised tt they act sell durians here.. visited Darling Harbour later on, & popped by e National Maritime Museum (cuz they got free entry.. hehe..) for some exhibition.. oh ya, there's Andersen's Ice Cream here.. ever try eating ice cream on a winter day wif e breeze blowing in ur face? my mum & bro say i muz b nuts eating ice cream on such a cold day, but i tink it's cool.. somemore e ice cream hardly melts.. hehe.. (^_^)

as for today, visited e Royal Botanic Gardens 1st.. dunno y we spent hours there juz taking pics of trees & flowers, maybe juz like taking a stroll around e park.. there were many joggers ard, can't believe they act wore shorts cuz we were already shivering in our jackets.. went e Art Gallery of NSW which is nearby.. great place.. my bro brought us to this area call e Rocks where u can c a great view of Sydney Harbour Bridge & e Sydney Opera House.. saw some pple climbing to e top of e bridge, but heard u gotta pay some amt of $ to do so..

well, better zzz soon, gotta wake up early cuz shops closes ard 5pm everyday.. e pple here r more 'family-oriented' (ie. they prefer to go home early & spend quality time wif their families), so they knock-off promptly.. & they work 5days a wk! which makes me wonder.. y singaporeans lead a hectic lifestyle?

This's e song i was listening to as e plane was departing Changi Airport.. & it was repeated again while i was peeking out e window (i got a window seat.. hee..) later ard 5am sgp time, & saw this beautiful view of e stars~* couldn't take my eyes off so ended up not sleeping for e whole 7hrs flight.. haha.. stayed up in hope of catching e sunrise.. imagine e horizon brightening up, yet e stars remain sparkling bright, displaying an intersection of day & night.. plus e sea of clouds beneath (tot tt was e sea, until i realized we're flying above e clouds..)

oh ya, SIA inflight games r quite fun.. tried this 'Dirby's Dreamland 2', so cute! more fun than 'Mario Bros'.. hehe.. & they even haf language classes, fiddled ard with jap, french, etc.. (^_^)

reached Sydney ard 10am.. pretty nice weather, sunny & all.. till e nite creeps in.. juz came back from dinner.. couldn't even go for walk.. freezing my head off now.. haha.. well, basically this's an account of my 1st day here.. not much sight-seeing yet, juz settling in 1st..

c my mood at e side? this is a literal description..

today's e last day of e pasar malam @ Boon Lay MRT, so i went down with my mum, bro & his gf.. sway-ly to say, i kana scratched (yes, it looks almost like cat scratches..) by durians which this person was carrying in a bag as soon as i reached e place.. (-_-") a piece of 'advice' for every1, pls watch ur way VERY carefully when carrying dangerous objects! initially, tot i was scratched by maybe e edge of e box, until e blood came out (sorry for e gross description) & din really catch e person's face cuz he/she went off in a car after passing by me.. wat's worse was there's no way i'm gonna go all e way home to treat e wounds (2 lines at e side of my leg, abt 7cm each.. i measured..) then return there, so finished walking e whole pasar malam b4 i went home.. it hurt really bad during e 1st few mins.. (x_x)

however, it doesn't mean i'm gonna hate durians.. still love them.. it's only e fault of inconsiderate pple!

anw, ate this yummy food.. it's called apam balik in malay, mian4 jian1 guo3 in chinese.. a kind of pancake la.. i bought 1 with only sugar & peanuts filling (80 cents each, $2 for 3 but i can't eat so many) while my mum bought 1 with xtra creamed sweetcorn ($1).. she says e latter tastes less sweet, which she prefers.. e queue for it was rather long though, took almost 20mins, but tink it was worth it.. (^_^) highly recommended! shared a delicous Ramly Chicken Burger with my bro ($2.50) as well..

tried e salmon okonomiyaki (jap pizza).. dun like it partly cuz of e vege.. even my bro say it tastes yucky cuz not really authentic jap stuff.. wasted $3.. btw, it's my 1st time trying e food mentioned above.. usually i'll juz buy muah chee or tea eggs..

went Marina Square with Jeeps, Leansie, Trish & Shan.. ate @ Sakae Sushi (nice food & furnishings, abit slow service though).. went shopping ard later on, bought a jeans skirt.. (^_^) there r lotsa new shops at level 3, kinda like Annex in Heerens.. heard tt e official opening of e place is near end of e year.. perhaps go again to check out more shops, since it's e sgp sales period now.. hehe.. oh ya, we qualified for scratch-&-win & i got a free notebook (which has Spongebob Squarepants on it.. hee..)

saw this cafe downstairs named Changing Appetites (cuz of e design of e signboard, at 1st i tot e name was Hanging Appetites.. haha..), maybe can go there next gathering, cuz e sofas look absolutely comfy!

anw, saw e policemen stationed at City Hall mrt (cuz of e olympic thingy at Raffles City).. weird thing we noticed were these big pouches tt were hanging at their sides, wonder wat they put in there. seems too big to hold juz a gun.. maybe tear gas? me like to imagine things..

enuff of e fun news.. rem my dvd player which was supposed to b fixed? another glitch came up.. by rite, when i switch on e player, e display msg is supposed to show 'HELLO'.. but now, for no reason, e 'O' disappeared.. so ended up with? (-_-") dun tink i'll call up maintainance since it's juz a small prob.. haiz~

finshed reading "The Private Me" by Jimmy which i borrowed from e lib, hoping to finish e other book "Pourquoi" asap.. gonna b out-of-town from 13th Jul onwards.. countdown commences.. no, i dunno how to add a counter here.. haha..

enjoyed singing my throat hoarse yest at kbox wif Cat, Shuz & Joy.. hehe.. oh ya, e k lunch was not bad.. had black pepper chicken bento set.. a rather hot dish (cuz of e pepper) tt makes u drink lotsa water.. haha.. (^o^)

went back to e office to collect last month's salary today.. had lunch wif Al & Shirley at e food court nearby.. ate tomato noodles.. yum yum.. a new dessert shop opened downstair & e cakes look absolutely delicious (me din really try any la).. but still, abit ex..

played badminton wif Hy, Yx & Zy later on at nus src.. 1st time there, so kinda lost, ended up asking directions.. really grateful to those pple who kindly told me how to get there.. anw, pray i dun get aching muscles tmr.. kinda lacking in exercise for a long time.. hehe..

ok.. in e end i went for e dinner.. we ended up with only 6 pple in total.. quite 'big' for a class outing hor (i'm being sarcastic here).. went V8 Movie Cafe at Bugis.. food was not bad, & affordable too.. ordered the grilled chicken chop.. yum yum!

one of my classmates said even though we've been in e same class for a sem, this is e 1st time we act sat down to eat together, & tink all e time we spent talking there is in fact more than e total no. of hours i've act spoke to her in class.. haha.. oh ya, found out tt most of my classmates got into BAF too..
